Why did Norwood’s plans for the JCoSS SEN unit change?
Following wide consultation with Parents and families in the local community we have identified provision for supporting children with autistic spectrum disorders (ASD) as the greatest need.
This need has been confirmed by the special education department of the London Borough of Barnet. It is important that the services which are provided are responsive to local need and that is why supporting children with ASD is considered to be the most appropriate service for the Pears Special Resource Provision (PSRP).
