Why Westbrook Crescent?

The governors, head, teachers and pupils of East Barnet School were keen to see their school brought together on a single site.  The existing East Barnet school buildings were in serious need of repair and there was a pressing demand from parents for more faith-based schooling in the borough, with the East Barnet site at the heart of North London’s Jewish community.  Redevelopment of the Westbrook Crescent site enabled the Council to address all these issues at once and provided not one but two brand new schools for Barnet.

Where do JCoSS pupils come from?

The majority of our students come from the borough of Barnet, especially from Finchley, Golders Green, Hendon and Woodside Park, but we also have substantial numbers from the neighbouring boroughs of Enfield, Harringey and Harrow.  Our 5 private coaches brings students from South Herts, Ilford and Northwood, Edgware, Stanmore and so on.
